A Quickie for the Road

Happy Monday everyone! I am sharing my last Globecraft and Piccolo post. Yes, you read it correctly, this is my last post here. I LOVE Globecraft and Piccolo products and will continue to "melt" things for years to come! I have enjoyed sharing projects with you and I hope you have enjoyed my inspiration.  With that I leave you a quick project for the winter months--a snowman pendant!

On a chipboard bezel I applied Enamel Powder Adhesive to aid the White Enamel Powder in sticking to the pendant. I built up layers of EP bring it to a bubble sometimes to get the texture in the enamel--to mimic snow. I then adhered the nose and black crystal bling with glastique and added a grosgrain ribbon to the back for a scarf. a simple piece of twine acts as a neck "chain."

The Midway!

if you are looking for my 31 Days of Halloween post it is here.

Happy Monday everyone! On the Globecraft&Piccolo Blog today I share a layout using the midway rides chipboard. My husband and daughter recently attended the State Fair of Texas and took some fabulous photos at the midway that I knew would be perfect with the midway chipboard. I created an 8×8" layout and layered the "rides" along the bottom. Deep Blue and Ruby Red Slippers EP were the perfect powders to coordinate with the red and blue neon of the midway! I hope you enjoy my layout!

31 Days of Halloween | Day 20

During the month of October I am participating in a month-long blog hop with some amazing artists. Everyday you will find a new Halloween project on all of the blogs listed below. Each project must have stamping on it, be it digi or ink. There are prizes to win, be sure to check out all the rules HERE and information on the daily scavenger hunt is posted there! You must go HERE to find the item/s you are looking for the scavenger hunt.

Welcome to Day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween hop with SmearedInk.com! Today I've created this little square card with a mummy with stamped "cloth". I stamped on a piece of white card stock with the Halloween ad page from the "seasonal catalog" from Stampers Anonymous. I embossed it with White Detail EP. Next I cut the ad into ½" strips, distressed the edges and inked the strips. I then misted the strips with white dylusions, blotting up the excess, and then with Pearl Mist again blotting up the excess.
Once dry I created my mummy focal piece and trimmed him up to size with my trimmer. I mounted him on some black card stock and the layered base. A bit of burlap string and some black bling finish off the card! I hope you enjoyed my card! Please come back tomorrow!!

31 Days of Halloween | Day 14

During the month of October I am participating in a month-long blog hop with some amazing artists. Everyday you will find a new Halloween project on all of the blogs listed below. Each project must have stamping on it, be it digi or ink. There are prizes to win, be sure to check out all the rules HERE and information on the daily scavenger hunt is posted there! You are missing days 11-13 for me...they are being restored daily...we had a mishap with the storms while I was out of town for the weekend...check back soon.

Welcome to Day 14 of the 31 Days of Halloween hop with SmearedInk.com! Today I'm sharing a small tile that I created with a piece of artist board and emboss enamels. I layered on enamels until I had a think molten tile and then I stamped the spiderweb rubber stamp into my molten EP. Once it cooled, I traced over the imprinted web with first white paint pen and then glitter pen to add some extra sparkle--thus making it virtually impossible to photograph directly! I finished the piece with black paint pen around the edges. I hope you enjoy my project! Please come back tomorrow for more!

Snow!

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft and Piccolo blog I share a twinchie [2" square] that I created for you on some Art Board with my favorite Piccolo Powders. I layered on Turquoise Lagoon until I had the surface nice and thick. I sprinkled in some Pure Platinum and a touch of Deep Blue before adding my "snow" washers to the surface of the twinchie. I then layered several coats of clear UTEE to build up a finish and dipped the edges of my twinchie into the Deep Blue Sky to create a boarder.
To complete the twinchie, I added some white paint dots and wrote the word "snow".

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!
