Alice's Wonder-Pendant

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft and Piccolo Blog I share another jewelry project today! This creation was made using royalty free Alice in Wonderland images and a variety of charms with the Piccolos, Gels and Glastique.
I printed my Alice image to fit the skinny rectangle bezel and adhered it to the background. I heat embossed my keys and steampunk airship accents with Victorian Bronze. I added emboss powders to the edges of the bezel as well. I used glastique to adhere the embossed chipboard to the bezel and then added a layer of glastique over the top of the Alice image.

The charms were colored with 3D Enamel Gels and an additional coat of glastique was added over the top.  Charms and bezel were joined with black jump rings and chains.

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

For the heros

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog I share with you another of the sets in the new release--the Military Dog Tags.  These are fantastic! They come with the ball chain and tags--which when cut with Silver Mirror Card stock look REAL. They have several words with them as well including Hero and USA shown here. I think they are perfect not only for patriotic holidays but also Operation Write Home Any Hero Cards to show how much you appreciate the service men and women protecting our freedoms.

Butterfly Hair Accessories

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft & Piccolo Blog I share a great hair accessory craft. Recently I needed some vintage looking comb pieces to put in my hair and thought the Butterfly Piccolo Accents would be perfect! I was right!
I began by applying Enamel Powder Adhesive to the butterfly chipboard and heat embossed Mermaid Tears EP to three, and Vintage Black EP to three more. All butterflies had two or more layers of heat set embossing powder. The backs of the butterflies were finished with black paint.

The embossed butterflies were then adhered to plastic combs using E6000. They were held in place until dry.

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

Awesome New Release from Cheery Lynn!!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog we are introducing a NEW RELEASE!!! This fabulous new release has several items for the holidays and a few great sets for multiple uses. Today I share the new Dirt Bike, 100 Stars strip and Awesome sentiment die!
I created a ring with the classic Circle stackers to build my star frame on. I added in the Add a Flourish from the last new release to take the stars in and out of the frame like an explosion! I double cut the Dirt Bike to add a shadow to the bike. and built up foam tape under the front wheel to give the bike the illusion that it's leaping through the ring. The ring of stars was placed on a scalloped circle background which was placed on a piece of orange card stock that was embossed with the Gears Emboss plate!
This makes a great card for the extreme sports enthusiasts in your life! I will be making a particular dirt bike racer a birthday card similar to this!

Beaded Wedding Pendant

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft and Piccolo Blog I share another jewelry project today! I printed a vintage wedding image to fit the 1½×2½" Bezel and trimmed it out. I glued the image on to the bezel, trimming closely to the edges and sanding with a file. Once dry I added black ink around the edges of the bezel. Next I adhered a vintage bead mix to the edges, randomly picking the various sizes and styles of beads For an additional accent I placed three along side the couple. Once this is completely dry, I layered on Ultra Thick Clear emboss enamel [UTEE] adhering with Enamel Powder Adhesive. I added multiple layers until the clear molten liquid was up to the level of the shortest beads. I finished the piece by hanging it from a silver ball chain.

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!
