International Fairy Day Blog Hop!
Happy International Fairy Day Everyone! Welcome to my annual Blog Hop celebrating this fantastic occasion! This blog hop is dedicated to all things Fairy! I am often asked where did International Fairy Day began? This quote from FaeNation sums it up:

I have collected some of my favorite bloggers and crafters to join me in this fun celebration! I hope you enjoy the projects we've done. Below you will find a list of bloggers..be sure to hop from project to project--keep my screen open as there may be one or two without the list on their blog.
Today I'm creating with some of my new and favorite toys and sharing a quote from the fairytale man himself Hans Christian Anderson : "Just living isn't enough," said the butterfly fairy, "one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower." After the month of rain and floods and storms that we've had this just seemed appropriate! We all need a little sunshine, freedom as we approach our celebration of independence here in the states and a "little flower!" While my word of the year is sparkle, I will forever be marked by the word bloom and all that it means. I hope you enjoy my project. I created a little plaque for my work area. I started with a spritz of water and some Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst in Pthalo Green on Mixed Media paper! This is an AMAZING little product and I can't wait to get the new colors in July! That one little bottle has all of those colors in its little bottle...just a touch of powder, a little more misting and a little patting and voila! an amazing background! I stamped a little field of daisies in the corner. I printed the Hans Christian Anderson quote and stamped a light music background over it. The pages were trimmed and mounted on some black and shiny sequins and beads were added for a bit of sparkle! Love it! I hope you do too!

September Monthly Member Blog Hop | Make a Wish!
Hi everyone! Today I'm participating with the Smeared & Smudged members in a monthly blog hop. This month's theme is Make a Wish! I love Smeared Ink's Goth Fairies and Seriba is probably my fave! I chose her to use on my Make a Wish Birthday Tag! She is colored with Prismacolors, a hint of Perfect Pearl mist and some frantage-style heat emboss sprinkles with Piccolo Emboss Enamels. Fairy in a Bubble
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today on the Globecraft & Piccolo Blog I share this Fairy in a Bubble featuring the Small Traditional Oval Bubble Frame Kit! I love the vintage feel of these frames--it reminds me of the photos in my grandmother's house. Today I've used a free vintage fairy download and printed it on card stock to the 3×5" size 4 times. Next I trimmed out "layers" of my image so that I could stack the layers with foam in between to make my image dimensional. I added a small butterfly charm (I removed the hanging loop) embossed with Bahama Aqua to the stack under the globe. I adhered my layered image to the back of the Traditional Oval Bubble Frame. As I was using the frame sideways, I removed the photo stand backing so that I could display on a shelf with a floral frog.
I next used the bottom ring and layered enamel powder using the enamel powder adhesive to adhere the powder to the chipboard. I began with Bahama Aqua and then added Mermaid Tears. Next I used a music background stamp with the adhesive fluid and Deep Blue Sky. I then used the middle ring and layered Poodle Skirt and Aged Pink.
To Adhere the layers I used a white heavy body glue and held it closed with clothes pins until dry. I added my little metal roses to the base to echo the roses in the fairies hair. I edged around the large frame with a black marker to finish off the edge of the chipboard.

The lid was created by stacking circles and flowers and trimming the edge with Allison's Ribbons! Now it's ready for a fairy friend!
