Have a Magical Night!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog I share a fun Halloween card with some of my favorite festive dies. I chose dies that would echo the circles in the image. The dots in the Horizon Square Boutique Frame, the Tiny Bubbles Border and the Dots in the Embossing plate all bring focus back to the little frog and his spots!  The bats and Spider Web Mesh Border were both cut from Glitter card stock for that added glitz. A bit of pen stitching on the focus square and some 3 dimensional bats finish off the card.

A Happy Hello

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft and Piccolo blog I share a quick and easy happy card using the Piccolo accents! I used the beautiful Pop Up Flower Accents and coated two with adhesive fluid and the Girls Night Out EP. I built up a few layers on those two and finished off with a small touch of Vintage Gold EP in the center. For the middle flower, I built up layers of Cranberry Wine EP and then added a bit of Girls night out to the insides of the flowers and some Vintage Gold to finish it off. To finish off the flowers I edged the with a dark marker. I adhered each onto my card mats with white glue and set aside to dry!

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Fall Y'all!

Happy Tuesday everyone! On the Cheery Lynn Blog today I share a Autumnal Equinox greeting. Fall is my favorite time of the year...crisp mornings, colorfuln leaves, pumpkins!!! Naturally I wanted to share this fall greeting! I distressed some kraft core card stock and crumpled up the papers. I diecut my leaves and brought out veins with chalks. I layered my sentiment on leaves and a doily and a distressed background. I created a focal flower with the sunflower die and used the fringe strip of the black-eyed susan for the center. Some burlap string and a molded bee embellishment completed the card

leslierahye's Very Fall Steampunk Blog Hop

Fall greetings everyone!! leslierahye here with my Very Fall Steampunk Blog Hop! I am joined by several of my creative friends to celebrate the turning of the calendar seasons to Autumn, Steampunk-style! This is my favorite time of year and I love to pair it up with my favorite style! It's a smallish hop with talented designers, take a moment to sit back, relax and enjoy the projects! You won't be disappointed!
For my project I created a fall tag with bits of molded emboss powder steampunk gears and fantastic fall leaves created from crinkled core'dinations cardstock and die cut with Cheery Lynn Dies. These were layered on the tag and dusted with Pan Pastel. A final molded embellishnment of a clockworks reminds us of the passing of time into the Fall!

I hope you enjoyed my tag! Be sure to hop by each stop and leave some love! We all appreciate comments!

Snowflake Pin

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft and Piccolo blog I share a wintery pin. I used the labels and frames from the new release Fancy Labels & Roses Accents and embossed the label with Royal Sterling and the Frame of the Rose Accent with Bahama Aqua. I layered these together to form the base of my pin.
Next I embossed snowflakes in Siam Silver, Bahama Aqua and Royal Sterling and layered then onto the pin base. I added some bling on the frame and in a few of the snowflakes to complete the front of the pin. A pin back was added to the back so that it could be worn on a jacket, hat, scarf or sweater!

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

Winter Card

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog I share a winter card using the Birch Tree and the Fancy Deer. I began by making an embossed snowflake background with a piece of vellum. I layered snowflakes and fancy deer with torn pieces of "snow". I created depth by using foam tape. I added "shimmer" to the snow background with pan pastel. A bit of "snow" in the front and on the branches collected as glitter. My focal panel was mounted onto a matte with a bit of Snowflake Mesh Border. A bunny from the Birch Tree set and a wee Hello finish off the card.

Dimensional Trick or Treat card

Happy Monday everyone! Today on the Globecraft and Piccolo blog I create a dimensional trick or treat card using the Trick or Treat Ornament! The ornament comes with two globes and two rings for holding the globes on. For the card I used just one ring and one globe. I am holding back the 2nd ring and globe for another dimensional card or project.
I clipped off the top of the ornament where the hanger would go and heat embossed the center ring that contains the characters with Vintage Black. The silver in the vintage black collected on the ghost and the black and gold on the witch and the moon--it did perfect! For the top ring that holds down the globe I covered it with spider paper, edged the ring with black india ink and heat embossed UTEE on top to give a more aged look to the ring. I sandwiched the rings and the globe and held them together with clothespins until adhered. I applied a piece of patterned paper to the back of the ornament frame.
To finish off the front of the card, I embossed Vintage Silver to the edges of the matte and layered the globe over the accent strip so that the words Trick or Treat could be read.

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thank you for stopping by today!

Spooky Fall Tag

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog I share a Spooky Fall Tag using the Birch Tree with little animals--it has a fantastic owl. My tag is layered with a decorative paper, an orange matte that reveals a piece of lace, and a piece of embossed stone-colored paper.
I distressed the edges of the layers and chalked with pan pastel. Silver metallic pan pastel over the black iron fence and earthy brown pan pastel over the birch tree enhance the card. Small bats flutter through the trees complete the look.
