Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog I share a fun background technique used in creating this card!
Bokeh is a photography aesthetic quality where out of focus parts of an image develop a character. The look created by photographers purposefully creating a shape on the blurred background is the inspiration for this background technique.
I began with a piece of Mixed Media Paper and added watercolor pencil and applied water to activate and smear the background. I set it aside to dry and in the mean time created a stencil on acetate with the circles stackers and the blueberries dies from the deep dish dies sets.

Once dry I applied circles with Pan Pastel in White using my template. Circles were allowed to overlap to give the impression of the photography inspiration. Once I was happy with the look, I added my sentiment "Awesome" to the front of the card and matted with a piece of black cardstock using the A2 Frames!
