Smeared&Smudged April Member Blog Hop | Egg-cellent Eggs

 Hi everyone! Today I'm participating with the Smeared & Smudged members in a fun egg-themed blog hop! We had to STAMP on an egg! SO FUN! You know I love decorating eggs...with tangles or decoupage or paint! This time I began with a fresh farm egg from our friends Stephanie and Shawn--they have literally 3½-4 dozen eggs a day so we've been enjoying these yummy home grown delicacies. I pierced the top and bottom of the egg and blew it out so my art would last--last time people got upset when I boiled the eggs first, decorated them, photographed them and then cracked and peeled them for egg salad! sometimes art is temporary!
With a chalk ink I used an acrylic stamp so that it would conform to the curves of the egg. After getting a good impression, I dusted the egg with my favorite Victorian Bronze Emboss Enamel from Globecraft & Piccolo and heat set the powder. ♥

To finish off my egg, I added a Piccolo Chocolate Bunny coated with enamel and gears. The stand is a wooden spool embossed with Victorian Bronze and wrapped with pink burlap string!
