HAPPY 5th BLOGIVERSARY to Susan M. Brown "SBARTIST: Painting in the Dark". I was honored when Susan asked me to celebrate with her and alter wooden spoons. Wooden spoons you ask? Well of course, for 5 years of marriage the traditional gift is wood and flatware the modern...so of course you would think "Wooden Spoons!"
If you happened upon my blog by coincidence, start at the top to check out all the fun altered spoons! You can travel through the hop with the link list below!! Join us in celebrating Susan's Blogiversary by linking up on her page with your own altered spoon!
For Susan I have painted my spoon purple--Susan's favorite color--and tangled an "S" and a "5" on the bowl of the spoon.I tangled every inch of the spoon except on the tip of the spoon which I wrapped with Baker's Twine. It is important to sand the spoon before painting it to provide a smooth surface for tangling with makers--I used both Zig Millennium Pens and BIC Mark-Its for tangling!!
