Welcome to OCTOBER!! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog I share with you some fun small items to make with the circle dies to spread the festivity of the season with friends and family. There is a recent tradition of "booing" your neighbors--you anonymously leave a little "happy" for a neighbor or friend. You leave them a message telling them they've been "booed"! Today I created a spiderweb tag and a fall tussy mussy that you can put a handful of candies in for a quick and easy BOO!
I began by misting white paper with colors of the season! Once dry, I die cut the largest scallop die in the XL-5 series for my tussy mussy. I then placed a die cut spiderweb doily onto another piece of the misted paper and die cut a small circle and scalloped circle.
With the large scalloped circle cut in half, I found the center of the cut edge to form a cone, gluing with an overlap of 3 scallops. Ribbon was attached with a mini attacher and misted mums and mini roses and leaves were added to the tussy mussy for a final embellishment. The spider doily circle was outlined in Black Marker and then mounted on the smaller scalloped circle. A hole was punched to create the tag.
You can include either the Boo poem or a small note of your own and some candies! Now, go forth and BOO!
