Quilted Winter Greeting

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog I am sharing with you a few more release dies and a fun quilted technique to do with the dies. I die cut the Fancy deer and the Joy To the World Sentiment from the wreath set with the Mirror Paper in Silver. I die cut my card base with an LG square scalloped stacker die and the focus square from blue and purple--two of my favorite winter crafting colors.

Cheery Lynn Dies used
To created the quilted look I made my "sandwich" for my cutting machine with the rubber embossing plate set. Instead of two cutting pads I used just one with the embossing rubber. The die was on the plate, then the paper and finally the rubber on top and a cutting plate on top of that. I ran it through the machine and it simply embosses the pattern of the image on the paper giving it a quilted appearance! Love it!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my project!
