March Hare | a Mixed Media Project with Clearsnap & VLVS

This week Clearsnap and Viva Las VegaStamps! are partnering together to inspire you with how well Clearsnap Inks and Mists pair with VLVS stamps! Today is my turn to share my project! I hope you enjoy it!

I chose to use the image of the March Hare from the Alice in Wonderland collection of stamps.
Create background on book paper with gesso and smooch spritz. Stencil with Mix'd Media Inx and punchnella. Stamp grid background with Mix'd Media Inx.
On another piece of Book Paper, stamp March Hare in black archival and watercolor. Fussy cut and adhere to your background.
Attach art piece to EcoArtBoard. Trim out board pieces. Sand edges. Ink with Truffle Mix'd Media Inx. Coat entire image with Mod Podge.
Glue image back together with E6000. Adhere 3D pieces with E6000.

Weekly Challenge | Hippity Hoppity

It's time for a new challenge with Digital Delights by Louby Loo! This week at Delightful Challenges our challenge is Hippity Hoppity for this last challenge before the Easter Holiday!  Today I am coloring with several of my new Spectrum Noir pens paired with my BIC Mark-Its!! I chose Bertie Bunny to work with and when I adhered her to the card, I bent her legs up so that she actually sits in the grass on my card! I hope you enjoy my card! Thank you for looking!

Tuesday Tutorial | Coloring Technique & Glitter

Happy Saturday Everyone! Leslierahye here and in my part of the world the season has changed to Spring and we are about a week away from Easter. That means we will have lots of Easter events in the community and at the school celebrating the Spring Holiday. I love Spring and all the holidays and am a huge fan of Steampunk. I have gathered together a group of awesome steampunk artists and am as excited to see their creations as I'm sure you are!!!  This is a one day hop. For my project I altered some plastic eggs with old book papers and tissue paper. I then inked and misted the eggs to add a shimmer to each egg. I created band for each egg and a basket to put them in with Graphic 45 Collection Secret Garden. Watch parts were added for that steampunk flair!
